On 5 December 2017, during the twenty-second joint session of the Academiae Pontificiae in the Vatican, Dr Shari Boodts was awarded a pontifical medal for her edition of Augustine's Sermones de Novo Testamento (157-183) (CCSL, 41 Bb).
